
Cheesy Avocado Breakfast Quesadilla
Ingredients
- 1 large flour tortilla
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 0.33 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
- 1 tsp butter or oil
- 0.13 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp salsa (optional)
Steps
- Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Place tortilla in the pan and sprinkle cheese over half.
- Add avocado slices and a pinch of salt.
- Fold tortilla in half and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove from pan and cut into wedges.
- Serve with salsa if desired.
Substitutions
- Scramble and hard fry an egg before starting to add with the avocado for more protein.
